LA SALSA FRESH MEXICAN GRILL® CELEBRATES CINCO DE MAYO “GRANDE-STYLE” TO BENEFIT DREAM FOUNDATION
La Salsa Fresh Mexican Grill is celebrating Cinco de Mayo “grande-style” by teaming with Dream Foundation to hold a two-tiered fundraising campaign to help the national nonprofit organization fulfill the final wishes of terminally ill adults. Beginning Friday, April 7 the public is invited to lend support either by purchasing La Salsa’s GrandeTray party platters at any of its participating 100+ restaurants nationwide or via the Internet as part of the “Dream Foundation/La Salsa Pledge Drive.” The promotion will continue through Friday, May 5, a day of celebration observed both in Mexico and in the United States that commemorates the Mexican victory over the French in the Battle of Puebla.
The fundraiser will consist of the following:
• GrandeTray Sales Campaign -- Every time a GrandeTray
party platter is purchased at participating La Salsa
restaurants nationwide, a portion of the proceeds
from each sale will be donated to Dream Foundation.
The platters are available in three combinations: a
Taquito GrandeTray for $19.95, Taco GrandeTray
$31.95, and the Burrito GrandeTray for $37.95. Each
serves up to eight and is accompanied by a Caesar
salad, rice, beans, fresh chips and salsa.
• Online “Dream Foundation/La Salsa Pledge Drive” --
Similar to pledge drives conducted by public
television stations and other nonprofits, the public
is encouraged to visit www.lasalsa.com and
participate in the online “Dream Foundation/La Salsa
Pledge Drive.” For every Internet donation of $20
or more, La Salsa will issue a complimentary $10
certificate redeemable for any menu item at any La
Salsa location. The public is encouraged to use
these gift certificates to purchase the GrandeTray
platters before May 5 to maximize the effectiveness
of the fundraiser.
