LA SALSA FRESH MEXICAN GRILL OFFERS TASTE OF MEXICAN GULF COAST WITH NEW VERACRUZ GRILLED FISH BURRITO
The tastes, flavors and seasonings of the Mexican Gulf Coast await visitors to La Salsa Fresh Mexican Grill with the debut of the new Veracruz Grilled Fish BurritoÔ. In keeping with La Salsa’s emphasis on the bold, sophisticated flavors of Mexico, the new entrée features La Salsa’s new Veracruz sauce, which adds a spicy, robust flavor.
The new gourmet burrito consists of a large flour tortilla stuffed with grilled Wahoo (a hearty whitefish), fresh avocado, shredded cabbage, rice, poblano crema, and a mixture of Jack and cheddar cheeses. The traditionally styled, medium-spicy Veracruz sauce is a blend of onions, garlic, jalapenos, and guerro and poblano peppers, sautéed in olive oil with tomatoes, olives, capers and Mexican spices. La Salsa’s new Veracruz Grilled Fish Burrito will be available nationwide in February 2005.
“Our new Veracruz Grilled Fish Burrito puts a contemporary twist on the unique tastes and flavors that have made Mexican Gulf Coast cooking famous the world over,” said La Salsa COO Amir Siddiqi, who revealed that the region’s rich culinary traditions have roots in Spanish, Afro-Cuban and indigenous cultures. “We invite everyone to spice things up a bit by joining us at La Salsa to experience this new taste sensation for themselves.”
Boasting a menu of traditional Mexican entrees made of high-quality ingredients, La Salsa’s menu items are noted for being fresh and flavorful.
