BAY AREA “GETS FRESH” WITH NEW LA SALSA FRESH MEXICAN GRILLS IN WALNUT CREEK AND CONCORD
La Salsa Fresh Mexican Grillâ has opened two new East Bay restaurants in Walnut Creek and Concord. The popular quick-casual Mexican restaurants are known for made-to-order Mexican fare that is prepared using only fresh ingredients.
In Walnut Creek, the new 3,100-square-foot 72-seat restaurant is located at the Olympic Place Shopping Center (1665 Mt. Diablo Blvd.). In Concord, the 112-seat, the 4,100-square-foot eatery is located at 1255 Willow Pass Road, at Diamond Boulevard. The new La Salsa restaurants mark the company’s 16th and 17th Northern California locations, joining sister locations in San Francisco, San Jose, Burlingame, Dublin, Hayward, Milpitas, Mountain View, Oakland, Sacramento, San Bruno, San Leandro and Union City.
The restaurants feature contemporary-casual décor replete with bold abstract murals, an exhibition-styled kitchen allowing guests to view their food being prepared, a unique salsa bar offering seven varieties that are made fresh in each location daily and comfortable seating areas. In addition, the new La Salsa restaurants feature the brand’s signature tequila margaritas, awarded “the best margarita on the Las Vegas strip.”

Boasting a menu of traditional Mexican entrees made of high-quality ingredients, La Salsa’s menu items are noted for being fresh and flavorful. Popular menu items include such favorites as the Three-Pepper Fajita Burrito stuffed with grilled chicken or marinated steak, fire-roasted red and green bell peppers, poblano peppers, onions, garlic, rice, cheese, avocado and roasted-tomato salsa; award-winning Baja-style Fish Tacos filled with grilled Mahi Mahi, cabbage, cheese, tangy Baja sauce and a squeeze of lime; and the Los Cabos Shrimp Burrito featuring grilled shrimp, Sonora sauce, fire-roasted fajita veggies, rice, cheese, cabbage, crema and avocado. Fresh salsa bar offerings include such varieties as Mexicana, buena, habanero, roasted tomato, verde, mango and avocado.
Menu items range in price from $2.49 to $7.50. La Salsa offers a children’s menu for those 12 and under, and vegetarian menu items also are available.
