LA SALSA FRESH MEXICAN GRILL® INTRODUCES THE FRESCA PLATTER™
In keeping with its tradition of creating fresh, contemporary versions of classic Mexican fare, La Salsa Fresh Mexican Grill has rolled out its new Fresca Platter featuring the bold, flavorful taste sensations indigenous to Mexico. The new offering consists of a bed of fresh Romaine lettuce topped with salsa Mexicana and sprinkled with cotija cheese and layers of shredded lettuce, sour cream and guacamole. Guests will have a choice of either a generous portion of grilled chicken or sirloin steak, drizzled with La Salsa’s new Salsa Casera and topped with an assortment of grilled fajita-style vegetables. Lending added zest to the new entrée is a robust Ancho Chile sauce. Tortilla chips and La Salsa’s signature chile lime dressing are served on the side. Suggested retail price of the Fresca Platter is $7.80.
La Salsa first gained prominence in the quick serve segment of the dining industry for its use of fresh ingredients in made-for-order fare -- a concept that has been widely replicated by imitators across the nation. The Fresca Platter features the dynamic new flavor profiles designed to appeal to today’s increasingly sophisticated diner.

Among the new sophisticated flavors introduced by La Salsa in the Fresca Platter are an Ancho Chile sauce and Salsa Casera. The Ancho Chile sauce is created from dried poblano peppers and characterized by a mildly spicy flavor and smooth, sweet tones. Salsa Casera is a pure blend of red chili spices derived from peppers grown across central and southern Mexico.
