That's just what's happening this holiday season as La Salsa Fresh Mexican Grill is coming to the aid of Share Our Selves (SOS), a Costa Mesa-based organization that provides food, clothing, health services and financial aid to the impoverished and working poor in Orange County. According to company president Kevin Osborn, La Salsa is launching the multi-faceted fundraising and food donation campaign in support of the non-profit effective immediately.

FUNDRAISING DRIVE -- La Salsa will donate a portion of the proceeds from every holiday party platter sold in Orange County through the month of December to Share Our Selves. The platters are available in three combinations: a Taquito GrandeTray featuring 12 all-white meat chicken taquitos for $19.95, a Taco Grande Tray featuring eight chicken or steak Tacos La Salsa® served with either black or pinto beans for $24.95, and the Burrito GrandeTray featuring four Original Gourmet® burritos filled with charbroiled chicken or steak and sliced in halves for $34.95. All platters are served with generous portions of La Salsa's Caesar salad, fresh chips and Salsa Buena.
FOOD DELIVERY TO SOS VOLUNTEERS -- La Salsa will feed 75 Share Our Selves volunteers who will be manning the organization's "Adopt-A-Family" donation drive on Thursday, December 19 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Orange County Fair & Exposition Center (88 Fair Drive, at the intersection of Fairview and Fair in Costa Mesa). In addition, La Salsa employees will donate their time to help unload and pack the donations as they are delivered.
"While the Christmas season is a time of joy and giving for many, it can be particularly challenging for those who are struggling just to survive," remarked Osborn. "SOS is a most worthy organization that helps so many of those in need. On behalf of all of us at La Salsa Fresh Mexican Grill, I invite everyone to visit a La Salsa location near them and make a donation to help support Share Our Selves this holiday season."
