LA SALSA INTRODUCES THE NO RICE NO BEANS BURRITO™

La Salsa Fresh Mexican Grill® is defying convention with the introduction of “The NO Rice NO Beans Burrito™,” a unique new burrito that conveys an entirely new attitude. This burrito combines a variety of freshly grilled vegetables including fajita veggies, zucchini, broccoli, carrots and corn with grilled, marinated chicken or steak and imparts a medium-spicy flavor with habanero jack cheese and a signature Poblano Crema sauce. According to La Salsa’s Chief Operating Officer Amir Siddiqi, the absence of traditional rice and beans is a pleasant departure that contributes to the character of this culinary creation.

New for summer, La Salsa’s The NO Rice NO Beans Burrito™ will be available in participating restaurants across the nation beginning mid- July for a suggested retail price of $6.55.

“The NO Rice NO Beans Burrito is a novel departure for the La Salsa culinary team,” said Siddiqi. “It was inspired by the variety of peppers and vegetables found in markets throughout Mexico without adding the frequent combination of rice and beans. This new menu item is a unique offering and proved itself to be extremely popular in test markets nationwide.”
